Other interesting finds from the Hobby, Craft and Stitch international at the NEC

My favourite find of the day has to be this lovely melody Miller fabric... which will be available from the haberdashers hub in April :) I am planning to make a dress from it as soon as it arrives!

Also ordered this mix print named 'candy print' which the photo does not do justice, when u see the full cross section it has a lovely border to the selvage and the print is made of of lots of everyday object and is really quirky! Love it!

Which is your favourite? Xxx

Another project for the house to be...

Pretty bits and bobs i had to share!

i purchased these oilcloths from laura ashley a few weeks ago when they were in sale, going to make a few items from them, i think tablecloths, outdoor cushions and an order for a girls apron and pump bag from the cupcake one.

these are some cross stitch canvas ideas i made using remnants from my degree work, they make a great change to square canvases and im going to add more to the collection my work develops. I have also had an order from a friend for some!

beautiful button bouquets i found at the wedding show with my sister, i will definitely be having a go now i have some free time!

too true! Claire Coles work is lovely, she embroiders onto wallpaper using fabrics and embroidery/ applique techniques, definitely worth a visit.
